We would like to take this opportunity to introduce two new sales members to our UK team, who will play a pivotal role in driving our sales and providing excellent customer service.
Meet Tony Thorpe – Business Development Manager for South East, UK
With a diverse career spanning sales roles in sports and recruitment, most recently Tony has spent the last couple of years in the heavy machinery sector. He joins Miller from B&B Plant where he served as a committed Sany Sales Specialist, bringing with him extensive expertise in excavators.
Tony chose to join Miller as he was looking for a company with great values, that was a well-known and liked brand. After meeting with the directors and sales team, Tony was blown away with their passion for not only being successful, but their drive to continue to provide the very best customer service across every level of the business.
Tony is looking forward to introducing Miller to his current network, as well as meeting new customers. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his three boys and family, whilst also playing golf and watching football.

Meet Jim Goodall – Business Development Manager for Central, UK
With over a decade’s worth of experience in selling plant and tool hire services, having worked at Gap Group and Speedy PLC, Jim has spent the last couple of years in the crane industry as an Area Sales Manager. Having been impressed by Miller’s global industry reputation, Jim has been overwhelmed by Miller’s facilities and the vast quantity of stock the company has readily available. As such, he is eager to get out on the road, meet new customers and work within Miller’s professional and friendly working environment.
Being fortunate enough to have the Lake District in his backyard, Jim is an avid walker and enjoys travelling to new and exciting places around the world.

Both Tony and Jim have experienced their first week at Miller undertaking an in-depth onboarding process which encompassed sessions with all areas of the business from sales, logistics and production, through to marketing, HR and finance, with full product training provided. They will now be getting on the road ad visiting customers in their dedicated territories.
